Note about our Fabrics
Our fabrics come from near and far and are often created with age old methods. At times we may find a little lump, bump or hiccup in the weaving process. We think these add character making the fabric special and unique.
We will not send any fabric to you that we ourselves would not be satisfied with.
This is our Crossgrain promise.
Our unique and often handmade fabrics may use age old methods in their production. Unfortunately this may mean there is residual dye and/or dirt left in the cloth.
Please prewash your fabrics separately in cold water before making. This is also important to allow for any unusual shrinkage.
Dark fabrics may need to be washed several times to remove the excess dye. A cup of white vinegar in the final rinse can be useful to prevent dye from bleeding.
