Fabric / Grandad’s Newspaper
A lightweight fabric with lovely texture and drape. I used Grandad’s Newspaper to make a dress from the pattern “Shirt No. 1 by 100 Acts of Sewing”. I just cut the pattern to my desired length and made a strap to make a waist tie, Easy! @100actsofsewing
Fabric / Midnight Stripe
A beautiful hemp and cotton blend with a fine raised white stripe creating beautiful texture. Here I used it to make the “Kochi Kimono by Papercut Patterns”. @papercutpatterns
Fabric / Cotton Clouds
A beautiful light and textured cotton. Cotton Clouds is a very soft, floaty fabric which is quite light and sheer, so would be best suited to tops. I’ve made “Cotton Clouds” into a simple, breathable gathered top, perfect for a hot summer’s day. I used the “Layered Dress” pattern out of the Japanese book “Simple Chic” by Tomomi Okawa.
